Due to the rising Covid-19 cases in Penang, I’ve been putting off servicing my cars for quite some time. And to be honest, I’ve also been pretty lazy about driving all three of my cars back to Penang island for their oil maintenance. So, my mechanic did me a solid and came over to my mainland house to take care of everything!
Not only did he handle the oil maintenance for all three cars, but he also did a thorough check-up on my Satria. He needed to make sure it’s in good enough condition to drive over to his shop for some serious upgrades, like a turbo, fuel sensor, and adjustable suspension. While he was at it, he helped me replace the burnt fuse box wiring and fuse, and thankfully, there was no Check Engine Light (CEL) after letting the car idle for a while and taking it for a drive. I’ll need his help to double-check that CEL issue I noticed a couple of months ago.
Oh, and just for fun, my mechanic brought along his red Celica, which he recently upgraded with a TRD ECU. It was cool to see his ride alongside mine!
PS: If you spot the red Celica, that’s his — he’s always tinkering with it!
