Since Honda Malaysia launched its “1 Million Dreams Campaign” for Honda CR-V, especially that bold red accent across the front. It’s sporty, sleek, and gives the car a premium feel without going overboard.
Recently, I decided to bring a little of that flair to my own Honda CR-V with a small but eye-catching cosmetic upgrade.
Honda CR-V Red Strip Cover – Simple Yet Sporty
Instead of replacing the entire front trim, I went for a red strip cover that fits perfectly over the front bumper chrome piece. It’s a subtle mod that makes a huge difference to the overall front-end look.
The cover sits snugly over the chrome bar—no drilling or permanent changes needed. Installation was straightforward with pre-applied automotive-grade double-sided tape.
Why This Upgrade?
Honda’s “1 Million Dreams” edition made a strong impression with just a few touches, most notably, that signature red line across the grille. It gave the car a sportier, more celebratory appearance. Since the CR-V shares a similar grille layout, I figured: why not replicate that same clean, aggressive vibe?
And honestly, I’m really happy with the result.
Before and After – It’s All in the Details
Before the mod, the chrome trim looked fine but a bit too plain for my taste. After adding the red strip, the whole front fascia pops. It draws just enough attention without being too flashy. I’ve had a few people ask if it’s a new variant or limited edition!

Final Thoughts on the Red Strip CR-V Mod
This is one of those low-cost, high-impact mods that make your car stand out. Inspired by a real Honda campaign, the red accent strip brings personality and a slight performance-inspired edge to a family SUV.
If you’re into clean visual upgrades or want to give your CR-V a limited edition look, this is a great place to start.
