It’s been a rough day. While driving my Satria, my Satria Hit a Pothole. The impact caused damage to both the front bumper and the Satria GTi fender arch. It was frustrating, to say the least. This is one of the downsides of lowering a car. And sadly, bad road conditions in Malaysia only make things worse.
I had always expected some minor issues with a lowered car. But I didn’t think a single pothole could cause this much trouble. The damage isn’t just cosmetic. I now need to repair the bumper and fender, and to make things worse, I also have to repaint the car.
Because my Satria is painted in pearl white, the respray won’t be cheap. Pearl colors are harder to match and require more layers. That means higher cost and more time in the workshop.
This whole situation really sucks. It’s going to burn a hole in my pocket. But I can’t leave it as it is. I care about how my car looks, and driving it in this condition just doesn’t feel right.
At the end of the day, this was an expensive reminder. If you lower your car, you have to be ready to pay the price. Especially when the roads around you aren’t in great shape.
